Partial Disability Benefit for the Construction Workers

About This Scheme

The "Partial Disability Benefit for the Construction Workers" by the Sikkim Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, is a welfare scheme for the registered workers of the board. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to the nominees/ dependents of a member, in case his/ her partial disability occurred during the course of the employment.

Eligibility

> For Registration as a Building/ Construction Worker: - The applicant should be a resident of Sikkim. - The applicant should be a Building/ Construction Worker. - The applicant should be between 18 and 60 years. - The applicant should have served the Board for at least 90 days in a given year. > For the Application of the Welfare Scheme: - Should be a registered worker of the Sikkim Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. - The worker should be partially disabled due to an accident during the course of employment.

Benefits

- ₹10,000/- to ₹1,00,000/- is provided for Partial Disability.
