Post Matric Merit Scholarship

About This Scheme

The “Post Matric Merit Scholarship” is a scheme implemented by the Mizoram Scholarship Board, Higher and Technical Education Department, Government of Mizoram. The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to permanent residents of Mizoram State securing 60% marks in Board/University Examination. The scheme is 100% funded by the State Plan Fund.

Eligibility

1. The applicant should be a bonafide permanent resident of Mizoram, or the child/ward of a bonafide permanent resident of Mizoram. 1. The applicant should be pursuing regular studies in a recognized post-matric institution in India. 1. The applicant should have secured at least 60% marks or a first division/class in the last Board or University examination. 1. The applicant pursuing postgraduate courses in Medicine will be eligible only if they are not allowed to practice during the course duration.
