About This Scheme

The scheme “Integrated Horticultural Development Program Through Diversification of Agriculture (IHDPDA)" was launched by the Department of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare, Union Territory of Puducherry. Through this scheme, the farmers are provided subsidy through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode for Organic Manures for Coconut Palms, Tools and Implements for Agricultural Purpose, Mud Pots or Cement Pots, Plant Protection Chemicals, Motor Pumpset for Irrigation Purpose, Biogas Unit, Planting Materials and Vegetable Seeds, Compensation for Disease Affected/ Unproductive Palms, Back Ended Investment Subsidy.

Eligibility

All farmers are eligible. _*The Agricultural officer (Mahe) shall maintain a separate register in the prescribed format for the receipt of applications and conduct periodic field inspections to verify the progress of the cultivation._

- Organic Manures for Coconut Palms @ 75% Subsidy. - Tools and Implements for Agricultural Purpose @ 50% Subsidy. - Mud Pots or Cement Pots @ 50% Subsidy. - Plant Protection Chemicals @ 50% Subsidy. - Motor Pumpset for Irrigation Purpose@ 50% Subsidy. - Biogas Unit @50% Subsidy. - Planting Materials and Vegetable Seeds @ 75% Subsidy. - Compensation for Disease Affected/ Unproductive Palms @ ₹250/palm. - Back Ended Investment Subsidy @ 50 % of Cultivation Cost.
