CM's Jibon Anuprerana Scheme

About This Scheme

The scheme "CM's Jibon Anuprerana Scheme" by the Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Assam aims to provide one-time financial assistance to eligible full-time research scholars and full-time Divyang (differently-abled) research scholars from public institutions in Assam, thereby promoting academic excellence and innovation in Assam. The scheme provides financial assistance of ₹25,000/- for research scholars and ₹40,000/- for Divyang research scholars as a one-time benefit during their scholastic journey. To be eligible, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam and must be admitted to PhD program in 2025 at Central or State Universities in Assam. The scheme is implemented by the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training through the Directorate of Investment and Development of Skill Portal. The applications for this scheme are accepted online.

- The applicant must be a Full-time Research Scholar or Full-time Divyang Research Scholar from Government or Public institutions of the state or central, situated in Assam. - The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam. - The applicant must be admitted to a PhD program in 2025 at Central or State Universities in Assam.

Benefits

For Research Scholars: One-time Financial Assistance of ₹25,000/-. For Divyang Research Scholars: One-time Financial Assistance of ₹40,000/-. Mode of Disbursement: Direct Benefit Transfer to eligible scholars.
