About This Scheme
The scheme "Financial Assistance to Students who Cleared Civil Services Prelims Conducted by UPSC/APSC” was launched by the Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare Department, Government of Assam. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students belonging to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi Community who have cleared the Civil Services Preliminary Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission or Assam Public Service Commission during the current year, so that they are supported in their preparation for the Mains Examination and succeed. The applications for this scheme are accepted online.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam and must belong to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community. - The applicant must produce a valid Caste certificate which is duly certified/issued by the District Commissioner of the concerned district or his/her designated officer. - The applicant should have cleared the Civil Services Preliminary Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission/Assam Public Service Commission during the current year. - The applicant must produce his/her copy of the admit card and result of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission/Assam Public Service Commission. - The applicant should not be a Government service holder.
