About This Scheme

The scheme “Operation of Paragliding Activities” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board under the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to promote safe, regulated, and professional paragliding activities in Uttarakhand by permitting certified paragliding companies and licensed tandem pilots to operate within the state.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand for at least ten years or a native of the state. 1. The applicant should possess advanced practical and technical knowledge of aero sports.

Benefits

Paragliding companies are permitted to operate, and tandem pilot licenses have been issued, allowing license holders to earn a livelihood through paragliding activities in the state.
