Disability Pension (HPBOCWWB)

About This Scheme

The scheme "Disability Pension," introduced by the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPBOCWWB), Government of Himachal Pradesh, provides a monthly pension of ₹500/- to registered beneficiaries in case of disability caused by accidents or diseases. Additionally, a lump sum of ₹50,000/- is granted if the disability is more than 50%., and ₹25,000/- is granted if the disability is more than 50%.

Eligibility

*For Registration* 1. The applicant should be a resident of Himachal Pradesh. 1. The applicant should be a Building or Construction Worker. 1. The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 60 years. 1. The applicant should have worked in building or construction activities for at least 90 days in the preceding 12 months. _*The registration should be renewed annually._ For Application 1. The worker should be engaged in building or construction work. 1. The worker should be registered under the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPBOCWWB). 1. The worker should have an active membership with the Board. 1. The worker should be a Person with Disability (PwD). 1. The disability should have been caused due to an accident or an illness.

Benefits

- A pension of ₹500/- month. - Additional ₹50,000/- in case the disability is more than 50%. - Additional ₹25,000/- in case the disability is less than 50%.
