Divyang Pension Scheme - Uttarakhand
About This Scheme
The "Divyang Pension Scheme" has been launched by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Uttarakhand, aims to provide financial support to persons with disabilities (PwDs) to help them meet their basic needs and improve their quality of life. Under this scheme, a monthly pension is provided to persons with disabilities who are above 18 years of age and have a disability of more than 40%.
Eligibility
1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand. 1. The applicant must be above18 years of age. 1. The applicant must have a disability of more than 40%. 1. The applicant must have a monthly income of up to ₹4,000/- or belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. 1. The applicant must not be availing any other pension benefits.
Benefits
A pension of ₹1,500/- per month is provided to eligible beneficiaries.
