About This Scheme

The "Raja Harishchandra Shramik Mrityu Antim Sanskar Sahayata Yojana" (RHSMASSSY) is a scheme launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to provide financial assistance to the families of registered workers who die while in service. The scheme's purpose is to alleviate the financial burden on these families during a difficult time and help them with the final rites of the deceased worker.

Eligibility

1. Workers should be working in an establishment registered under the Factories Act, 1948. 1. The monthly salary of the worker (basic salary + dearness allowance) should not exceed ₹15,000/-. 1. It is mandatory to apply within one year from the date of death of the worker. 1. Financial assistance will be payable to the worker's spouse or dependent (son/unmarried daughter), mother/father in case the worker is unmarried.
