- The applicant must be 60 years or older. - The applicant must have made a significant literary contribution (e.g., authored books, received awards, or provided literary service). - The applicant must belong to one of the recognized language academies: Gujarati, Hindi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Urdu, or Kutchi. - The applicant’s annual family income must be below ₹1,20,000 in rural areas and below ₹1,50,000 in urban areas, certified by the Mamlatdar. - The applicant must not be receiving any pension. - The applicant must not already be receiving financial support under similar schemes.
