About This Scheme

The "Private Tuition Assistance to Socially and Educationally Backward Class Students Studying in Science Stream of Class 11 & 12" scheme was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. It aims to provide financial assistance for private tuition to socially and educationally backward class (SEBC) students pursuing science education in higher secondary classes. Under this scheme, a total of ₹15,000 is granted to each class of 11th and 12th to cover private tuition fees.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat. 1. The applicant must belong to the Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC). 1. The applicant must be studying in the science stream in Class 11th or Class 12th in a recognized higher secondary school.1. The applicant must be availing of private tuition during the academic year. 1. The applicant’s annual family income must not exceed ₹6,00,000/-.
