Labor Department of Chhattisgarh State started this scheme "Kachara Beenane Vaale Hetu Suraksha Upakaran Sahaayata Yojana" for unorganized worker on 19 June 2017. The main objective of the scheme to empower unorganized worker by providing safety equipment.

Eligibility

1. Applicant must be a registered waste picker in Chhattisgarh State. 1. Applicant must not be receiving assistance from any other parallel scheme of the state government. 1. Applicant must be between 18 and 60 years old.

Benefits

- Gloves, Shoes and Rain Coat (OR) - A cash assistance in the amount determined by the CSID.
