About This Scheme

The "Kunwar Bai Nu Mameru Yojana" was launched by the Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to families of Scheduled Tribe (ST) girls at the time of their marriage. Under this scheme, a financial benefit per couple is provided to ensure economic support to families and to encourage social welfare.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a native of the Gujarat. 1. The applicant must belong to a Scheduled Tribe. 1. The applicant's annual family income must not exceed ₹6,00,000/-. 1. The benefits under this scheme are eligible for till the occasion of the marriage of two (2) adult girls of the family. 1. The bride's age must be 18 years at the time of marriage. 1. The groom's age must be 21 years at the time of marriage.

Benefits

Financial assistance of ₹12,000/- per couple is provided during the marriage.
