The scheme “Eja-Boi Shagun Yojana” was launched by the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to promote the safe health and well-being of mothers and newborns by encouraging institutional deliveries and ensuring that mothers stay in government hospitals for at least 48 hours after childbirth.
Eligibility
1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand. 1. The applicant must be a pregnant woman who has delivered her child in a government hospital within the state of Uttarakhand.
Benefits
For ensuring the safe health of both mother and child, an incentive amount of ₹2000/- is provided to all eligible mothers who stay in the government hospital for at least 48 hours after delivery.
