About This Scheme

"Marriage Assistance Scheme" by the Madhya Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Department of Labour, Government of Madhya Pradesh, provides financial assistance for the marriage of a registered female worker herself (including one-time remarriage) and for up to two daughters of a registered worker. The scheme applies to the marriage of the female beneficiary herself or the legal, adopted, or stepdaughter of a registered construction worker, provided that the bride is at least 18 years old at the time of marriage.

Eligibility

For Registration - The applicant should be a resident of Madhya Pradesh. - The applicant should be a Building/ Construction Worker. - The applicant should be between 18 and 60 years. - The applicant should have engaged in any building or other construction work for at least 90 days during the preceding 12 months. - The registration of the applicant should be renewed annually. For Application - The applicant should be a registered female worker or the daughter of a registered worker. - The applicant should participate in the "Chief Minister Kanya Vivaah/Nikah Scheme". - The bride should be at least 18 years old. - The applicant should not have received similar assistance before.
