Motorized Tricycle Yojana

About This Scheme

The "Motorized Tricycle Yojana" is a scheme implemented by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan. Under this scheme, motorized tricycles are provided to eligible applicants for purposes such as self-employment and pursuing higher education from Senior Higher Secondary onwards. To be eligible for the scheme, the applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan, a specially-abled person with 50% or more locomotor disability, and possess driving experience along with a valid driving license.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a native of Rajasthan. 1. The applicant should be self-employed or a student pursuing senior higher secondary education. 1. The applicant must have a 50% or more locomotor disability. 1. The annual family (parents/guardians including applicant's income, if any) income should not exceed ₹2,50,000/-. 1. The applicant's age must be 18 years or older. 1. The applicant must have prior experience in operating a vehicle and hold a valid driving license.

Benefits

Under this scheme, beneficiaries will receive a motorized tricycle free of cost to support self-employment and higher education from the Senior Secondary level onwards.
