The “Motor Vehicle Driver-Conductor Welfare Scheme- Gratuity Assistance in case of Death” scheme has been launched by the Transport Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Benefits
> Gratuity Assistance in Case of Death - A one-time gratuity assistance of ₹2,000 is provided for funeral and last rites. - The assistance is payable in case of accidental death of the registered driver or conductor and the family members. . > Mode of Disbursement - The assistance amount is disbursed immediately by the local body. - The local body later claims reimbursement from the Social Justice Department.
