The scheme "Assistance of Concentrate Feed for Pregnant Animals (Scheduled Caste Category)" introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, aims to support Scheduled Tribe livestock owners during the last trimester of cattle pregnancy—a critical period for both the animal and the calf. Through this scheme, 150 kg of BIS Type II concentrate feed is provided free of cost to eligible beneficiaries to enhance milk yield, extend the milking period, and prevent health complications.
