About This Scheme
The scheme "New Swarnima Scheme" by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to provide a special scheme for self-employment of women from backward classes living below the poverty line. Through this scheme, financial assistance for chosen businesses is provided to female beneficiaries from socially and educationally backward classes. The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Backward Classes Development Corporation.
Eligibility
1. The applicant should belong to a socially and educationally backward class. 1. The total annual income of the applicant's family should not exceed ₹3,00,000/-. 1. The applicant's age should be between 21 and 45 years as on the date of application. 1. The applicant must have experience in a business requiring technical and other skills.
Benefits
1. Loan Amount: The maximum loan limit under this scheme is up to ₹200,000/- per beneficiary.1. Interest Rate: The interest rate in these schemes will be 5% per annum.1. Loan Coverage: 95% of unit cost financed by the national corporation (NBCFDC), 5% by the state government. > Repayment Terms: Repayable in 60 equal monthly installments, including interest. > Mode of Disbursement: The loan amount is disbursed, with 95 percent of the unit cost from the national corporation and 5 percent from the state government.
