About This Scheme

The scheme “Akhil Bhartiya Sanskrit Kavi Sammelan” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy, Haridwar, under the Department of Sanskrit Education, Government of Uttarakhand. The aim of the scheme is to promote and popularize the Sanskrit language and literature by encouraging poets who compose and recite poetry in Sanskrit.

Eligibility

1. The fifteen Sanskrit poets from Uttarakhand and other states, who compose and recite poetry in Sanskrit, are invited.

Benefits

An honorarium of ₹2501/- is given to each invited poet.
