About This Scheme

The scheme “Appointment of Contract Sports Coaches” was launched by the Department of Sports, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to appoint sports coaches on a contract basis to ensure the smooth functioning of local training camps for various sports across the state.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a sportsperson or a coach from Uttarakhand. 1. The applicant must be between 21 and 70 years of age. 1. The applicant must possess the relevant educational and sports qualifications. 1. The sports coach is not required to be a domicile or permanent resident of Uttarakhand.

Benefits

Every year, around 250 coaches benefit from these training camps and gain employment.
