Free Pre-Recruitment Training

About This Scheme

The scheme "Free Pre-Recruitment Training" is implemented by the State Sainik Board under the Sainik Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide 8 weeks of free pre-recruitment training for the Military, Paramilitary, and Police forces to the sons of ex-servicemen aged between 16 and 21 years.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand. 1. The applicant must be a son of an ex-serviceman. 1. The applicant's age should be more than 16 years and less than 21 years. 1. The applicant should have passed high school with 45% marks. *All expenses incurred on training (honorarium of trainers + food + accommodation) are borne by the Directorate of Sainik Welfare.* Note: 5 courses are conducted each year.

Benefits

Under this scheme, 8 weeks of free pre-recruitment training for recruitment into the Military, Paramilitary, and Police Forces is provided to eligible beneficiaries.
