About This Scheme

The “Financial Assistance for Purchase or Construction of House” scheme is implemented by the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (UKBOCWWB) under the Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide loans to registered construction workers for the purchase or construction of a house at a minimal interest rate.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a construction worker registered with the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. 1. To avail an advance loan for the purchase or construction of a house, the worker must have been a member of the fund for at least five years and should have a minimum of 15 years remaining until superannuation/retirement age.

Benefits

1. Under the scheme, registered construction workers are eligible to receive an advance loan amount of up to ₹50,000/- for the purchase or construction of a house, subject to the conditions specified by the Board. 1. Interest of at least 5% per annum is applicable on this loan.
