About This Scheme

The objective of the scheme:- 1. To identify landless agricultural laborer families in Gram Panchayat and Nagar Panchayat and provide financial grants to landless agricultural laborer families on an annual basis. 1. To increase the net income of landless agricultural labor families through financial grants.

Eligibility

1. Original residents of Chhattisgarh. 1. Landless agricultural laborer families residing in Gram Panchayat and Nagar Panchayat areas 1. Under the landless agricultural laborer families of Gram Panchayat / Nagar Panchayat area, such as shepherd, carpenter, blacksmith, cobbler, barber, washerman, priest - families associated with Pauni - Pasari system, forest produce collectors and other categories will also be eligible, if that family does not have agricultural land. 1. Persons who worship in the places of worship of tribals in rural and urban areas of Scheduled Areas, who are known by the names of Pujari / Baiga / Guniya / Manjhi etc. Baja Moharia will be eligible under the scheme despite holding agricultural land. But those families of this class who are receiving periodic allowance/financial assistance from the government in other schemes will not be eligible.

Benefits

Under the scheme, an amount of Rs.7000/- per year will be provided as a grant-in-aid in installments to the head of the eligible identified beneficiary family. The grant-in-aid amount will be made by Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly into the bank account of the head of the identified empaneled household.
