About This Scheme

The scheme "Free Shoes and Bags Scheme" is implemented by the Basic Education Department under the Department of Education, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students from Classes 1 to 8 studying in all government and government-aided schools for purchasing shoes and bags.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a student of Classes 1 to 8 studying in any government or non-government aided school in Uttarakhand.

Benefits

Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided for purchasing shoes and bags for boys and girls as follows: - ₹318/- per student for Classes 1 to 5 - ₹462/- per student for Classes 6 to 8 The amount is transferred directly to the students' account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
