About This Scheme
The "Manav Garima Yojna (NT DNT)" scheme is launched by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of Gujarat. It aims to enable nomadic and de-notified caste persons to live with dignity and become self-employed in small businesses and financially self-sufficient. Through this scheme, various business tool-kits are provided to these target beneficiaries so that they may start small enterprises and become economically independent.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat. - The applicant must belong to the nomadic or de-notified caste. - The applicant’s family annual income should be ₹ 6,00,000/- or less in general. - In the case of Nomadic and Denotified Castes and backward castes among SEBC castes, the income limit has been removed.
Benefits
1. The primary benefit is the provision of various business tool-kits to eligible beneficiaries so that they can engage in small business activities and become self-employed and financially self-sufficient. 1. The tool kits are given under the scheme targeted at nomadic and de-notified castes. 1. The annual income limit for eligibility is ₹6,00,000 (for the family) for most of the target groups. - Among the SEBC castes, the income limit is removed for Nomadic and De-notified Castes and backward castes.
