About This Scheme
The scheme āProduction Incentive / Back-Ended Subsidy for Cultivation of Horticulture Crops" was launched by the Department of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare, Union Territory of Puducherry. _Through this scheme, the farmers who possess farmer's identity cards / authenticated land records/documents are provided with One-Time Assistance/ BiāAnnual Assistance/ Annual Assistance for the Cultivation of Horticulture Crops such as Mango, Guava, and Sapota._
Eligibility
All categories of farmers with farmer's identity cards / authenticated land records/documents are eligible. _*The Agricultural Officers (Horticulture) shall conduct periodic field inspections to verify the progress of the cultivation in coordination with the Agricultural Officers of the respective Uzhavar Uthaviyagams._
Benefits
> One Time Assistance - Mango: ā¹ 12,250. - Guava: ā¹ 5,830. - Sapota: ā¹ 2,300. - Other fruits (not covered under the NHM scheme): ā¹ 25,000. > Biāannual Assistance (Two Seasons Per Year) - Thai and Aadi Pattams - Hybrid vegetables: ā¹ 5,000. - Country Vegetables: ā¹ 12,500. - Winter Vegetables: ā¹ 18,750. > Annual Assistance - Coconut: ā¹ 7,500. - Tapioca: ā¹ 12,500. - Betel Vine: ā¹ 1,500/ā, not exceeding ā¹ 50,000/ā Ha. _*The eligible subsidy amount shall be released to the beneficiary's account on DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode after obtaining expenditure sanction as per norms._ _*The final list of the beneficiaries would be displayed on the notice board of Uzhavar Uthaviyagams._
