About This Scheme

The "Vehicle Loan Scheme" is implemented by the Gujarat Thakor and Koli Vikas Nigam (GTKVN) under the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to promote self-employment among youth from the Thakor and Koli communities by providing financial assistance for the purchase of commercial vehicles. Under this scheme, beneficiaries can avail of a subsidized loan to purchase auto-rickshaws, loading rickshaws, or a Maruti Eeco van to start an income-generating transport business.

Eligibility

1. The applicant should be a resident of Gujarat. 1. The applicant should belong to Thakor or Koli community. 1. The applicant's age should be between 21 to 50 years. 1. The applicant’s annual family income should not exceed ₹3,00,000/-. 1. The applicant should intend to purchase an approved transport vehicle for commercial use.

Benefits

Under this scheme, beneficiaries can avail of a loan of up to ₹4,00,000/- for the purchase of commercial vehicles such as auto-rickshaws, loading rickshaws, Maruti Eeco, etc.
