About This Scheme

"Jharkhand Nirman Karmakar Mrityu/Durghatana Sahayata Yojana" is an Insurance Scheme by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development Govt of Jharkhand. The scheme is also known as the "Jharkhand Construction Worker Death/Accident Assistance Scheme" in English. This is a 100% State Sponsored Scheme. Only the residents/domicile of the state of Jharkhand can apply to this scheme. The applications for this scheme are accepted online through the official website of the department (http://shramadhan.jharkhand.gov.in). The scheme provides social security to all registered workers in the age group of 18-60 years.

Eligibility

1. The applicant should be a domicile in the state of Jharkhand. 1. The applicant should be a registered Construction Worker (Nirman Shramik / Nirman Karmakar). 1. The applicant should be in the age group of 18-60 years. 1. The applicant should have worked for at least 90 days.

Benefits

In case of death in an accident, ₹ 5,00,000/-.In case of complete disability in an accident, ₹ 3,00,000/-.In case of partial disability in an accident, ₹ 2,00,000/-.In case of normal death, ₹ 1,00,000/-.
