About This Scheme
The scheme āGrant Of Incentive For Marriage Between Differently Abled Person And Normal Personsā by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry was introduced to encourage and support marriages between differently-abled individuals and those without disabilities. Through this scheme, an incentive of ā¹1,00,000/- is provided, comprising ā¹20,000 in cash and ā¹80,000/- in the form of National Savings Certificate (NSC).
Eligibility
1. The applicant should be a Native/Resident of the Union Territory of Puducherry. 1. The applicant should have an annual income not exceeding ā¹75,000/- per annum. 1. The bride should be above 18 years of age. 1. The bridegroom should be above 21 years of age. 1. The disability of the applicant should be 40% and above. 1. The marriage should be the first marriage between the bride and the groom. 1. The marriage should have been registered. 1. The application should be submitted within 120 days after marriage.

- An incentive of ā¹1,00,000/- (ā¹20,000 in cash and ā¹80,000/- in NSC).
