The scheme "Reimbursement of Tuition Fee and Transport Facility to Scheduled Castes Students Studying in Technical Institutions in Haryana" was launched by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Haryana. It aims to provide financial assistance to Scheduled Castes students pursuing AICTE-approved technical courses, such as Diplomas from Polytechnics, D-Pharmacy, B-Pharmacy, B.Tech., M.E., M.Tech., Ph.D. in Engineering subjects, MBA, and MCA. The scheme is applicable only to students enrolled in regular mode at government, private, or aided technical institutions approved by the Technical Education Department, Haryana. Under this scheme, eligible students receive reimbursement of tuition fees along with transport facility benefits.
Eligibility
1. The applicant should be a Scheduled Caste student of Haryana. 1. The student should be enrolled in an AICTE-approved Diploma, Undergraduate, or Postgraduate technical course, including Diploma from Polytechnics, D-Pharmacy, B-Pharmacy, B.Tech., M.E., M.Tech., Ph.D. in Engineering subjects, MBA, or MCA. 1. The applicant should be pursuing an AICTE-approved course in a government, private, or aided technical institution approved by the Technical Education Department, Haryana. 1. The applicant should be admitted through centralized counselling. 1. The applicant’s annual parental income should be between ₹2.5 lakh and ₹3.5 lakh for tuition fee reimbursement. 1. The applicant should not be residing in a campus hostel to be eligible for transport facility reimbursement.
Benefits
Tuition Fee Reimbursement: - The reimbursement covers the actual tuition fee of ₹20,000/- for diploma courses and ₹40,000/- for degree courses, whichever is lower. Transport Facility Reimbursement: - The reimbursement covers the actual amount of state transport facilities (train pass/bus pass).
