About This Scheme

The scheme “Production of Foundation Seeds” by the Agriculture-Farmers Welfare Department, Tamil Nadu, is designed to support farmers in the production of foundation seeds, particularly for pulses. Eligible farmers receive a subsidy. Special benefits are provided for SC/ST farmers (24%) and farm women (20%).

Eligibility

- The beneficiary should be a Farmer. - The beneficiary should be a resident of Tamil Nadu. - The beneficiary should raise seed farms with Pulses crop.

Benefits

- Financial Assistance: ₹1,000/- per quintal.
