The scheme "Scheme of Assistance to SC/ST Entrepreneurs" was launched by the Pondicherry Industrial Promotion Development and Investment Corporation Limited (PIPDIC), Department of Industries & Commerce, Puducherry. The scheme aims to extend financial assistance to SC/ST Entrepreneurs for setting up new Micro Enterprises or for expansion of existing units. New and existing Micro Enterprises, promoted by Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs.
