About This Scheme

The scheme "Old Age Pension Scheme" has been launched by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to help elderly persons meet their basic needs and improve their quality of life. Under this scheme, a monthly pension is provided to senior citizens (both husband and wife) in the state who are 60 years of age or above.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand. 1. The applicant must be 60 years of age or above. 1. The applicant’s family monthly income must not exceed ₹4,000/- or the applicant must belong to the BPL category. 1. The applicant must not be receiving any other pension.

Benefits

A pension of ₹1,500/- per month is provided to eligible beneficiaries.
