Trekking in Forest Area (Scheduled Tribes)
About This Scheme
The scheme "Trekking in Forest Area (Scheduled Tribes)" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to instill a deep love for nature, pristine landscapes, wild animals and birds, trees, mountains, springs, and ravines among the Scheduled Tribes youth of the state by directly engaging them in a forest trekking experience. Under this initiative, a forest area rotation program is conducted for 100 selected young men and women, giving them immersive exposure to natural surroundings and biodiversity.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat. - The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category. - The applicant should be between 15 and 35 years of age.
