Satfera Samuhlagna (DCW) Scheme
About This Scheme
The "Satfera Samuhlagna (DCW)" scheme was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. It aims to promote social welfare and support financially weaker sections through community marriages. Under this scheme, an incentive amount is given to newly married couples belonging to socially and educationally backward classes and economically backward classes. Additionally, ₹3,000 per couple (up to ₹75,000) is provided to the organizing institution.
Eligibility
1. The applicant must be a newly married female. 1. The applicant should belong to a Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC) or Economically Backward Class. 1. The applicant’s annual individual income should not exceed ₹6,00,000/-.
Benefits
Monetary Incentive to Couples: - ₹12,000 is provided to each newly married couple from socially and educationally backward classes and economically backward classes. Support to Organizing Institutions: - ₹3,000 per couple is granted to the organizing institution, up to a maximum of ₹75,000 per event.
