About This Scheme

The scheme “Printing and Free Distribution of Sanskrit Textbooks” is implemented by the Directorate of Sanskrit Education under the Department of Sanskrit Education, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to promote Sanskrit education by providing free Sanskrit textbooks to students studying in Classes 1 to 12.

Eligibility

1. The students studying in Classes 1 to 12 at Sanskrit schools across Uttarakhand are eligible.

Benefits

Each student is provided annual financial assistance under the scheme as follows: - Classes 1st to 5th: ₹250/- per student - Classes 6th to 8th: ₹400/- per student - Classes 9th to 10th: ₹600/- per student - Classes 11th to 12th: ₹700/- per student
