Integrated Social Security Scheme: Pension for Women in Distress
About This Scheme
The scheme "Pension for Women in Distress" is a sub-component of the “Integrated Social Security Scheme (IGSSS)” implemented by the Social and Tribal Welfare Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹1,000/- per month is provided as a pension to destitute widows, divorced, or deserted women with no source of income.
Eligibility
1. The applicant should be a permanent resident of the Union Territory of Ladakh. 1. The applicant should be a distressed woman, such as a destitute, separated, divorced, or widow. 1. The applicant should belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. 1. The applicant's age should be between 40 and 79 years. 1. The applicant should have no source of income.
Benefits
Amount of financial assistance/pension: ₹1,000/- per month per beneficiary
