About This Scheme

"Scheme for Pension Benefits to the Journalists/photojournalists" was launched by the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs, Government of Tripura. The objective is to provide financial assistance in the form of a Pension to accredited Journalists/ Photojournalists aged 60 years and above. The application should be submitted to the Director of Information and Cultural Affairs Department, Government of Tripura.

Eligibility

1. The applicant should be 18 years or older. 1. The applicant retired from the job as an accredited journalist/photojournalist in Tripura. 1. The applicant should have done 10 years of service in Tripura. 1. The applicant should not have received a pension from other sources, except under the Employees Provident Fund (EPF). 1. The beneficiary should be 60 years or older to receive the pension.

Benefits

Pension of ₹10,000/- per month.
