Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (Punjab)
About This Scheme
The "Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)" is implemented by the Department of Social Security and Development of Women and Children, Government of Punjab. Under this scheme, persons with disabilities aged 18 years and above, having a disability level of 80% or more, are eligible to receive a pension of ₹300/- per month. After attaining the age of 80 years, the pension amount increases to ₹500/- per month. Dwarfs are also included as an eligible category under this scheme.
Eligibility
1. The applicant should be a resident of Punjab. 1. The applicant should be a person with a disability. 1. The percentage of the disability should be 80% or more. 1. The applicant’s age should be between 18 and 80 years.
Benefits
- Pension is Rs. 300/- per month (age 18-79 year) - Pension is Rs. 500/- per month (age 80 and above year)
