About This Scheme

The scheme “Low Altitude Guide Course” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board under the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to train and certify youth from Uttarakhand as professional low altitude guides and provide them with skill development opportunities to strengthen their role in the state’s tourism sector.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a youth from Uttarakhand. 1. The applicant will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. > The total number of 761 beneficiaries will be selected.

Benefits

The beneficiary will become a certified low-altitude guide upon completing the course.
