Financial Assistance for Education (HPBOCWWB)

About This Scheme

The "Financial Assistance for Education Scheme" has been introduced by the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPBOCWWB) and has been providing annual financial assistance for the education of up to two children of a beneficiary, covering studies from Class I to professional courses such as Medical and Engineering, as well as PhD and research programs.

Eligibility

For Registration as a Building/ Construction Worker: 1. The applicant should be a resident of Himachal Pradesh 1. The applicant should be a Building/ Construction Worker.. 1. The applicant should be aged between 18 and 60 years. 1. The worker should have completed at least 90 days of building and other construction work in the last 12 months. 1. The registration of the applicant should have been renewed annually. Eligibility Criteria for Scheme: 1. The parent of the child must be engaged in building or construction work under the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPBOCWWB). 1. The parent of the child should be registered with the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPBOCWWB). 1. The parent's membership with the Himachal Pradesh Welfare Board must be active at the time of application.

Benefits

1. Primary & Middle School (Class 1–8): ₹8,400/- per year 1. Secondary & Senior Secondary (Class 9–12): ₹12,000/- per year 1. Graduation Level: ₹36,000/- per year 1. Post-Graduation Level: ₹60,000/- per year 1. Diploma Courses: ₹48,000/- per year 1. Polytechnic Diploma: ₹60,000/- per year 1. Professional / Research Courses: ₹1,20,000/- per year Note: This applies equally to both girls and boys.
